Random blogging thought

Wednesday, August 27th, 2008

I was just driving home from work a few minutes ago (I seriously need to drag myself out of the office lately) and was thinking about what I think would be an interesting blogging genre: driveblogging or roadblogging (reminder to buy the domains, including derevitaves….)

I can envision people driving, riding, flying, etc. and blogging at the same time - made possible by voice to text technology and blog platform API\’s (Jott being one of the more well known companies providing this service).

Think of some dude on his pedal-to-start moped cruising around Thailand during & after the tsunami talking/blogging (dare I say….driveblogging). The prospects of this technology at the immediate reach of the masses is interesting. You could have your own website that you could post to for specific audiences, purposes, etc. An example could be a page which I post to in the event of an emergency. My family could receive RSS feeds of the details of the location of the Mexican jail i\’m in.

Test post from Shozu via iPhone app

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

I\’m trying out an iPhone app called Shozu to post to my blog. The Wordpress iPhone app does not work because I have an older version of Wordpress than is supported. I need some help updating to the new version of Worspress. If someone that can help me with the upgrade reads this I\’d really appreciate the assistance.

Would you want this license plate?

Thursday, August 7th, 2008

I saw this car driving on the freeway several weeks ago and had to take a picture with my cell phone. The license plate says SLOTHOR and the frame reads “Caution: This car breaks for Casino’s” or something like that. Funny thing is, the car was being driven by some old man. I certainly hope the car belongs to his wife. Although I’m not sure I’d want my wife driving around in any car which labels her as a “HOR” of any kind. It takes all kinds.
